Position: Sr. SDET Tester

Location: Washington, DC #HYBRID

Duration: 6+ months Contract

Rate: $70/hr

Job Description :

1. Accountable for creating, coding and keying accurate and thorough test plans and test cases with pre-determined results. Executes tests and reviews test data within specified scheduled dates.
2. Accountable for analyzing test and operational problems to determine presence and scope of potential code defects. Reports errors through a structured defect tracking process. Communicates weekly with management verbally and via written detail status report regarding potential problems and concerns.
3. Develop and maintain business and technical knowledge through classroom training, testing workshops, reading, and research, etc. Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of testing tools. Expand business knowledge of product benefits, corporate policies, division and department goals and department procedures.
4. Accountable for reviewing and analyzing business and system requirements and specifications for system programs and modules.
5. Coordinates with customers to resolve issues. Verify satisfaction of internal and external customer requests and obtain information to create test data.
6. Participates in project work group meetings (internal/external peer reviews, walk through, status meetings, Software Process Improvement, JAD sessions etc.)
7. Accountable for performing functional testing of CCAE B2B application for the new features during the sprint cycles.

Job Requirements :

• Required 5-8 Years Experience
• Must demonstrate solid knowledge of Health Care Claims processing.
• Must have knowledge and experience in testing and development life cycle methodologies.
• Experience in testing web based applications.
• Experience in Claims processing and must be familiar with claims processing in healthcare industry. It will be a plus if they have knowledge of Enrolment processing.
• Experience in manual and automated testing using Selenium Java, Protractor, cucumber.
• Experience using Jira and/or an equivalent tool.
• Must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's Degree (Information Technology or Computer Science)
• Knowledge of programming languages and web based technologies., Advanced
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications., Advanced
• Ability to collaborate to solve technical problems across teams., Advanced
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal., Advanced

Software & Tools :

• Jira and Selenium
• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
• Proven proficiency with: SQL and PL/SQL
• SoapUI
• Experience in testing IBM Sterling B2B and IBM Transformation Extender (ITX) tools.
• Experience in Testing Core Claims Benefits.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
40% Installs, tunes, upgrades, troubleshoots, and maintains all computer systems relevant to the supported applications including all necessary tasks to perform operating system administration, user account management, disaster recovery strategy and networking configuration.

25% Develop and implement techniques to prevent system problems, troubleshoots incidents to recover services and supports root cause analysis

15% Automates the installation and configuration of applications in development and productions environments.

10% Evaluates new systems by performing in-depth tests, including end-user reviews. Researches software and related products to support recommendations and purchasing. Determines systems integration issues by evaluating components; developing and completing performance tests; analyzing test data; studying project requirements; analyzing user and potential user input; evaluating similar and related products and systems. Develop system automation and system integration of business processes.

10% Improves engineering job knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
