**Description** **RF Systems Engineer III - "W-TRS" Fort Irwin, California** **Exempt Salary role** **Job Qualifications** : + Active Secret clearance + Leadership experience for a geographically diverse team + Leadership and mentoring experience with proven results. + Knowledge and experience with Company policies & procedures with emphasis on Naval communication equipment/requirements and front-line leadership. + Current U.S. Passport with minimum of 1 year prior to expiration and 3 blank pages + If required, must be able to be deployed onboard naval vessel, in the role of Radar Engineer/operator; not to exceed 60 days. + Must be able to pass mariner exam. + Bachelor's degree in related field and 3-5 years of exp. or 8 years exp. in lieu of Bachelor's Degree. This position will be required to conduct occasional travel. **Required Skills:** + Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills. + Leadership experience for a geographically diverse team + Leadership and mentoring experience with proven results. + Knowledge and experience with Company policies & procedures with emphasis on Naval communication equipment/requirements and front-line leadership. + Six or more years of relevant work experience with engineering design or development + Demonstrated understanding of RF design principles + Strong understanding of Radar RF troubleshooting principals and methodology + Ability to manage the development of Radar RF systems for commercial and defense applications. + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities + Experience with Microsoft Office suite of tools + Assisting the MSMO hiring team with recruiting, interviewing, and hiring qualified/experienced personnel to meet performance objectives. + Other duties as assigned within the Mobile Sensors Management Office **Desired Skills:** + Familiarity with U.S. Military contracts and design and development practices + Experience in Frequency Modulated and Phase Modulated RF circuit design concepts. + Ability to strategize the development of complex RF system architectures and act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on RF systems for program management. + Ability to assimilate inputs from multiple RF sources and derive design and operational requirements. + Experienced with RF Transmit & Receive system hardware and associated test equipment. + Knowledge of Risk ID and Mitigation. + Experience with DoD development process + Advanced technical degree Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
