**Position:** Maintenance Technician - Full Time! **Location:** San Antonio, TX **Pay:** Starting at $31.51/hr. with wage progression every 6 months for 2 years **Bonus:** Potential to earn a 5% bonus based on the overall performance of the plant! **Shifts:** 2/2/3 schedule with every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off! + Night Shift - 6:30pm to 7am **Benefits:** Benefits Start 1st Day of Employment **Job Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and plant utility equipment + Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems + Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure reliable operations + Install, relocate, and modify equipment including electrical, gas, water, and air hookups + Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals + Fabricate and repair tools, fixtures, and guards as needed using shop equipment (lathe, mill, welder, grinder, etc.) + Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts, and work orders + Ensure compliance with all safety standards, including LOTO and PPE use **Qualifications** + Minimum 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience required. + High school diploma or equivalent required. + Mechanical and electrical repair knowledge. + Working experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical (480v), and preventive maintenance in a manufacturing. + Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. + PLC troubleshooting experience preferred but is not a requirement. **What We Offer** + Paid vacation and 13 paid holidays + Health, dental, and vision insurance (Day 1) + 401k with company match (RIC 1-5%, enhanced match if contributing 6%) + Annual bonus opportunity (up to 5% based on plant performance) + Free employee battery program + PPE, uniforms, safety glasses, and safety shoes provided + $1,000 referral bonus (after 90 days) + Recognition programs including Safety Week, Quality Week, Tenure Awards, and Holiday Events **_This is a general overview of the job_** **About the Plant** Our San Antonio, Texas Distribution Center opened in 1995 and now employs more than 265 people. The site charges, packages, and ships batteries used in cars, boats, motorcycles, and heavy-duty trucks.
