Job Description

3rd Shift – 7pm – 7:30am

Responsibilities

• Assist the maintenance manager with technical evaluations, hands-on repairs, and troubleshooting tasks
• Provide expert guidance to technicians and contribute to control circuit design and modifications
• Conduct maintenance on AC/DC systems, PLCs, microprocessor controls, and power distribution, while enhancing preventive maintenance programs
• Program and troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLCs and HMI modules; build and install electrical control panels
• Ensure safe, timely work execution and maintain a clean, organized workspace
• Demonstrate reliability through consistent attendance and flexibility for overtime, weekends, and off-shift work
• Capable of navigating ladders, walkways, and working effectively in a production environment

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of hands-on experience in industrial electrical and control systems
• Skilled in reading and interpreting machine manuals, electrical schematics, and process control diagrams
• Proficient in developing and troubleshooting ladder logic for automation systems
• Experienced with installation and diagnostics of 480V motors and low-voltage (120V/24V DC) control circuits
• Competent in programming and troubleshooting variable frequency drives (VFDs)
• Knowledgeable in RS Logix, C Logix, and SLC/Micro Logix PLC platforms
• Strong ability to analyze fault codes on PLCs, controllers, and VFDs, and implement corrective actions efficiently
• In-depth understanding of pneumatics and hydraulic systems
