**Job Title: Injection Mold Set-Up Operator**
**Job Description**
The Injection Mold Set-Up Operator is responsible for setting up and operating injection molding machines and related equipment to ensure efficient production of high-quality plastic parts. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up and remove molds using appropriate tools and lifting equipment.
+ Connect auxiliary devices such as temperature controllers, dryers, and loaders.
+ Verify proper alignment and secure clamping of machine parameters (temperature, pressure, cycle time) according to specifications.
+ Start up and shut down machines following standard operating procedures.
+ Inspect parts during production for compliance with quality standards.
+ Document inspection results and maintain accurate production records.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2+ years of experience in Injection Mold Operating and Set-Ups.
+ Proficiency in mold changeovers.
+ Capability to perform first piece inspection.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with Arburg Injection molding machinery is highly preferred.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, IL.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
